Who are Safety Liaisons, and What Do They Do?

Safety Liaisons are members of a research group, who are responsible for ensuring safe working and research conditions for the full group and building a culture of safety in the workspace. They serve as a go-between for the group, PI, and department safety committee.

Safety Liaisons are responsible for communicating important safety information and updates to their group, and for attending the Annual Liaison Meeting, held by CSARS.

Our Next Liaison Meeting will be: Fall Semester 2024 (TBD)
