Safety Liaison Responsibilities and Expectations:  

  • Attend Safety Liaison meetings, typically 1-2 times academic year.  In case of unavailability at the scheduled meeting time, recruit an alternate group member to attend. 
  • Report pertinent and relevant information back to the research group after Safety Liaison meetings and as needed. 
  • Communicate with group members about the importance of reporting incidents and near misses.
